Larry Sparks- President

Larry is a commercial insurance agent offering both business insurance and surety bonds. Since 2013, he has been with Six & Geving Insurance, a Higginbotham Company. Larry has been in sales since 1988 and most of that time has been in the insurance industry. His specialty is in construction risks. He met and married his wife, Kristina, while at Bible College in 1987. They moved to Colorado almost 20 years ago and enjoy the Front Range and all the scenic beauty of Colorado. Having lived in communities great and small, he is convinced that business thrives on relationships and in providing real solutions to people’s needs. Larry serves as Gideon and is a member of the Colorado Springs South Camp. In his free time, he coaches homeschool students in policy and value debate. His passion is in training them how to think critically and communicate winsomely. Larry is committed to the growth and prosperity of the Falcon community, which is why he serves on the board of the Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce.

Joe is a publisher with Best Version Media and publishes a local, micro-targeted, neighborhood magazine. The magazine focus on the Falcon and Black Forest communities. Joe spent 25 years in the electronics industry serving as a chemical process engineer selling and installing chemical processes in circuit board and metal finishing operations in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and much of the Northwest. In 2000, he launched into a new career in retail jewelry and spent 18 years in that industry mainly in retail management. In 2018, Joe made a leap of faith and decided to join with Best Version Media and develop the Falcon community magazine. Falcon Friends and Neighbors first issue was published in December 2019 and has been growing ever since.  Joe is married to his wife Alison and celebrated their 15th anniversary this year. Joe also volunteers with his church and joined the Eastern Plains Chamber in 2018 and now proudly serves as the Chamber’s Vice President.

Gale Dupre- Treasurer

Gale and her husband, Chris have been a part of the Falcon community since 2009 after 20+ years of moving around the world with the Air Force where Chris served as a linguist and an intelligence officer. 

They have three adult children and two wonderful granddaughters. After staying home with her children and homeschooling for many years, Gale reentered the workforce as a paralegal, bookkeeper, and most recently, as the Business Administrator for Dupré Academy of Music. The academy was founded and is owned by her daughter, Claire Dupré, and is the only music school located in Falcon. 

Gale has, in her own right, been active in many performing groups in Colorado Springs, including, the Madrigal Singers at Glen Eyrie Castle, Chamber Singers of the Colorado Springs Chorale, and most recently, ChoralSong of Colorado Springs where she sings in the alto section and serves as the secretary of the Board of Trustees. 

She is excited to bring her administrative experience to the Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce as its Treasurer and is eager to help the thriving business community in Falcon flourish.

Lauren lives in the Eastern Plains with her husband and their four children. Together, they enjoy—homeschooling, participating in 4-H, hiking, and staying active in the local community. Lauren brings both energy and organization to her role as Secretary of the Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce, supporting clear communication and purposeful growth for the Chamber and its members.

As an auto broker with RH Auto Brokers, Lauren helps individuals, families, and businesses find the right vehicles by taking a consultative and relationship-based approach. She specializes in matching clients with solutions that meet their real needs—whether it’s a reliable family SUV or a strategic vehicle purchase for a growing business.

Lauren is passionate about supporting small businesses and helping the Eastern Plains thrive. She looks forward to strengthening local connections, welcoming new opportunities, and helping the Chamber continue to serve as a valuable resource for the community.

Erica Meyer is an experienced public relations and communications professional whose career spans the nonprofit, utility, and cultural sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in English from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and currently serves as the Community Relations Specialist for Mountain View Electric Association, where she leads outreach, media, and community engagement initiatives. Her career has been defined by building strong partnerships, managing crisis communications, and coordinating programs that connect people and strengthen communities. Outside of work, she is active in the arts and local service initiatives as a pottery artist at Cottonwood Center for the Arts, a former Red Rock Canyon Open Space Board member, a Concordia College alumni representative, and a certified trail crew leader.

David is a PMP-certified operations leader with over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, IT, hardware and software, project management, sales, and business ownership. He’s known for driving operational excellence using Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement methods and has led cross-functional teams at companies like A Plus Mortgage, LLC, Unisys, Hewlett-Packard, Skyline Products and now StratusIQ. His expertise includes small business building/ownership, process improvement, customer satisfaction strategy, and systems integration. David holds a B.A. in Marketing from California State University, San Bernardino, post graduate classes from George Washington University, an honorary Thermo-Plastics Engineering degree from the Society of Plastics Engineers and possesses multiple industry certifications. David and his family have called Colorado Springs home since 1997 and love living in our nation’s wonderful big playground.
